CAD MODELING
In the days before digital model making, designers worked closely with master wax carvers and metal model makers. I learned a lot from these amazing craftspeople, but always wondered what it would be like to realize ideas without an interpreter. When CAD modeling sent ripples through the jewelry industry, I knew it was a wave I needed to catch. I have been modeling jewelry on a computer longer than most anyone I know, and the experience of working with great craftspeople still informs each click of my mouse.
